Hempfield, PA is an unincorporated community, located in West Hempfield Township. Hempfield Township is located to the west of Lancaster County, and is located between the cities of Lancaster and York, on US Route 30.
The township is well-known for having a unique combination of rural and suburban living, and there were a total of 15,128 people residing in the area, according to the most recently-available census data, with a total of 5,542 housing units, most of which were single-family residences.
